Deep Trouble is a side quest in Horizon Forbidden West.

Synopsis[]

Obtaining the Quest[]

Aloy can receive this quest either from Arnuf in Chainscrape or from Korvend at Crimson Narrows. In any case, the excessive demands of Ulvund have resulted in accidents at the mine.

The Mine[]

Smoke is coming from the mine as Aloy arrives: while opening up new veins, the miners accidentally hit water and the mine has flooded. The foreman, Korvend, has helped most of the miners escape, but he was injured in the cave-in and two more miners are trapped inside. Aloy orders him to stay back and goes to rescue the last two workers.

Aloy quickly finds the missing miners, Thorden and Lokuf, in an air pocket: while Thorden is unharmed, Lokuf's leg was injured in the blast and cannot evacuate through the flooded caverns.
