Chekkatah is a minor character in Horizon Forbidden West.
History[]
Chekkatah grew up in the Sky Tenakth village of Cliffwatch. During the Clan Wars, Chekkatah and lifelong friend Ikkotah were able to hold the Stand of the Sentinels from being claimed by Hekarro and the Lowland Clan, which was one of the few battles Hekarro ever lost.[1]
However, Chekkatah came to respect Hekarro's vision for peace, and volunteered for the first Kulrut. While he survived and became a Marshal, he would often return to his former home and hunt alongside Ikkotah, with who he had a relationship that was more than friendship. When asked if he was up for a hunt, Chekkatah would always reply "I just might be."[1]

Chekkatah was among the Marshals attending the embassy between the Tenakth and Carja, angrily exclaiming the Carja couldn't be trusted as the other Marshals threatened Aloy and Varl as they approached before Tenakth were ready to begin, but backed off under the request of Fashav.[2]
When Regalla interrupted the embassy, Chekkatah and the other Marshals felt no threat from the exile, but as the rebels opened fire, Chekkatah was among those who was killed in the initial attack.[2]
