Cauldron IOTA is a Cauldron activity in Horizon Forbidden West.
Description[]
The only known machines that Cauldron IOTA produces are Tallnecks.
Completing Cauldron IOTA will also unlock the Salt Bite Tallneck and uncover its area of the map.
History[]
Cauldron IOTA was damaged in an earthquake, exposing a portion of it to the outside. Internally, the damage has led to obstacles in production.

- Cauldron IOTA has the same icon as Cauldron ZETA.
- Cauldron IOTA was the second Cauldron in Horizon Forbidden West to begin development, starting in mid 2018, was playable in early 2019, had its first and second art passes from late 2019 to early 2021, where it then underwent polish and bugfixing until release.[1]
- During development, Cauldron IOTA was also known as Cauldron 2.[2]
- Riding the Tallneck out of Cauldron IOTA was nearly cut during development due to the complexity and potential strain on the game's engine.[3]
