Arana is a minor character in Horizon Zero Dawn.
History[]
Arana has a strained relationship with her father, Thok. Ever since the death of her mother, Edena a year prior to the events of Horizon Zero Dawn, Thok became very overprotective of Arana, much to the latter's frustration.[1]
Horizon Zero Dawn[]

After her deceased mother's spear became lodged in a Scrapper, Arana set out to kill the machine and retrieve the weapon. However after coming under attack by Watchers, she was forced to retreat to the safety of an elevated platform until Aloy cleared the area for her. Aloy then sent Arana back to her father before following shortly after retrieving the spear from the Scrapper, returning it to its rightful owners.[2]
Arana and Thok later took refuge along with the rest of the tribe within All-Mother Mountain during the Eclipse's assault on the Embrace. After Aloy returned from ELEUTHIA-9 and asked everyone able to join her in Meridian to defeat HADES, Arana was eager to join, but was turned down by Aloy.[3]
