Acid Bombs are a type of ammunition in Horizon Forbidden West compatible with certain Blastslings. They deal medium Acid damage and high Acid buildup on impact over a 2 meter radius. It also leaves behind a lingering pool, dealing acid buildup to anything standing within it. Overdrawn Acid Bombs leave additional residual damage areas.
These can be used to inflict the Corroding status on enemies, dealing minor damage over time and weakening protection provided by armor plating. Effective against enemies with acid vulnerability.
