A Dash of Courage is an errand quest in Horizon Forbidden West.

Synopsis

Overhearing rave reviews about the cooking of Milduf, the cook in Chainscrape's tavern, Aloy approaches him about purchasing some of his food. Milduf is unable to do so, as he lacks ingredients and demands from Ulvund's minions have worn out his equipment. However, he's more than willing to oblige if Aloy can get him ingredients and a temporary replacement for his griddle.

After retrieving the ingredients, as well as Corrugated Metal Plate to use as a substitute for a griddle, Aloy brings them to Milduf, who prepares her a meal and promises to give her the next one for free.

Objectives

• Gather 5 Wild Meat by hunting wild animals.
• Gather 3 Bitter Leaf which often grows on rocky terrain.
• Go to the Scrounger Site
  • Gather a Corrugated Metal Plate
• Deliver the Supplies to Milduf

• After completing this Errand, Milduf becomes available Cook merchant. Before the purchasing menu appears, Milduf will say one of a few lines about getting back at Ulvund's minions by slightly altering their food.
