I can understand the need to leave behind older generations, even if it is frustrating. And while it is a DLC, studios have to keep moving and advancing to keep up with competition.

According to Guerrilla the Burning Shores is more graphically and technically advanced than the base game to the extent that the PS4 can't effectively handle it. That's why it's a PS5 exclusive, sadly for me and all the other PS4 users.

I struggled with those trials until I looked up how to do them. There's a video with a specific path for one trial on youtube that works like a charm, look it up and you should find it.

I really liked the blood effects in Elden Ring and also they had options to turn off or decrease the amount of blood in hits. When you headshot in HFW there's a weird cloud of red mist that kind of irks me so I think yes, there should be gore

I chose the stealth path so I recommend taking that one, so unless you're maining astronomer or something super powerful basically hide from any enemies you see. At one point there's a big fight in a courtyard which I literally just ran past.
