So... I recently heard on the Horizon reddit page that the series is getting their own cookbook like Fallout and Destiny did. It has 60 recipes and includes various from the games (Meat in the Middle, Ceo's Banquet, etc.)
Here is the link to pre-order on amazon and it includes a few pictures if everyone is interested. Got to say, the images look very well and I'm hungry now. Not a cook myself so I hardly believe I will be able to do them unless I put the time, effort and money for it BUT I found it includes a bit of lore/story of our favorite cook (there were only like...3 with names in the whole game so not a lot of competition) Milduf! and also Pentalla it seems (the Salt Bite cook)
He is going to explore the west and compile foods from all the 7 tribes with an Oseram expedition, so I imagine he and Pentalla will somehow travel to Banuk and Nora territory, the ones we don't have any kind of food for their culture (probably includes a lot of fish and boar).
I honestly was disappointed with the whole food in the game, with the buffs and presentation ( I still use the ones that give weapon stamina+ and valor surge). Although I'm pampered by Monster Hunter World/Iceborn cutscene of the chef cat cooking amazing looking food so that is my fault lol. I was actually hoping we got more cutscenes while they prepare the food.
