In forbidden west you can do charger races with the desert tenakth. I’m wondering how this is possible, since aloy and those associated with sylens are the only ones we know of that are capable of taming machines. So where do the other machines come from? Did I miss a plot point of them being members of regalla’s forces?

Yeah…to say that some to of zero dawns methods were a bit dark would be an understatement. If anyone had any thoughts to reveal the truth, they didn’t live long enough to do it.
My favorite is the Fox and the Bird by Praemonitorius. The entire indomitable series is a cool look into what could have happened to Beta if the zeniths went a different route in raising her. All of Praemonitorius fics are really good, their “legacy” fic is one of my fav Elisabet lives fic.

This is purely self indulgent.
A side quest or achievement called Beta’s Closet. Effectively while exploring, Aloy can collect normal day wear (ei not armor) for Beta to wear. A carja nobel’s dress, diviner’s shirt, a banuk cloak, things like that. It would be a fun way to incorporate the tribes a bit more, and be a nice little story line between the two of them.
Also the trouble of getting anything close to the swarm. The swarm was designed to take over enemy tech and turn it to its side. So anything they used to bring the bombs close might have been over taken
I think the pure brutality and desperation in Orea’s death made it impact me the most. Carls death was sad, but it was also cold and quick. Meanwhile Orea was straight up electrocuted and we watch her scream as she dies. And then the grief of her finally reuniting with her friend only to die. If it was a question of impact on the characters then it would be Varl no question but me? Definitely Orea

I kinda miss the whole brain heart fist thing. There were a few instances of it in hfw, but it was almost every interaction in zd
It might be interesting being a beta for zero dawn. Where you could get missions from the alphas to retrieve specimens for Apollo, Demeter and Artemis. Or even run messages for Elisabet.

I’m kinda hoping to see the quen homeland at some point. I think it would make for an interesting location
I like the idea of beta taking a larger role next game. It would be cool if we could play as her. A multi player game was mentioned at some point so maybe we could play her in that too.
