Do you think they would be able to win that? Maybe they would have had Sylen's weapon and whole tribe but it still would be mostly humans, and amount of machine's probably wouldn't have been as big as the ones that were made during Aloy's attack from matrix.

But at least Frobidden West doesnt require you to do each hunting challenge on the highest level to get that "Full stripes reward" like it required Blazing Suns in every hunting ground in Zero Dawn for trophy. (or in 3 hunting grounds beacuse im not sure right now).
I hate when something is time limited. But of course you can just lower the difficulty to story mode where most of the weaker enemies die in like 2 shots or less so thats plus...

Both horizons are one of the best platinums... but no idea how long did it take since i played each game few more times even after doing platinum XD.
Also when Aloy was talking about that part with Gaia she was said something like "what if we could recreate and upgrade it maybe Zeniths wouldnt be so invincible after all" or something like that. So thats why i thought this exact part was used in weapon.
Why not. Maybe this part is exact same as the one in the final weapon especially that when Aloy went to Sylens after he made and upgraded that weapon he was in her base not somewhere else right? So possibly he used the part that Aloy took. Otherwise taking it by Aloy would be pointless. If im not wrong all that Aloy did was bringing this weapon piece to Gaia and then she scanned it and thats all. They needed Sylens to upgrade it and make it work.
Unless that "ball" is somewhere in the room even after Sylens made that weapon so ok...

But still that weapon part was used to make exact copy of that weapon so maybe without that party it would be impossible. Noone knows.
Maybe but there are still Zeniths' shields. Aloy collected Sylens' weapon part but without her doing that they could be without it during final battle.
Ok right the articles says Specter carcass while I thought its just "alive" one lol.
But I still find it weird. If Specter Prime is scanned automatically after killing it then why they didn't do the same with Specters. Or maybe they did idk.

What was even the point of blowing it up beacuse im not sure if it's mentioned in the mission... just after it is destroyed the army of Specters runs to it.
So dead one can be scanned too and it will be added to machine's database?
So according to the arcticle about Specter they should spawn at Ninmah Research Lab for those who forgot to scan them. But they aren't there. No Specters outside or inside that lab...
Or maybe Specter is scanned instantly after killing it for the first time so they don't need to spawn anymore just like Specter Prime?

If Shadows are our enemies then why they dont attack us if we enter their CAPITAL? If some of them can recognize us with their focuses then why they dont do it if we enter Sunfall before destroying focus network? Sylens warns us not to go there but we can just ignore that lol.
I literally started shooting some of these guards and they ignored that XD.
AND even a cutscene played where there were like 2 guards showed that had focuses and still they ignored Aloy... dumb lol. Just Sylens again told me not to go there XD.
Also I think its really a shame that there is no enemeis with focuses that would be able to see us like dont know maybe through walls etc... if not in Zero Dawn then in Forbidden West but still no such enemies even though there were those Son's of Prometheus who had focuses :-/.

How to trigger knockdown easier in Horizon 1? Everyone says you need to shoot in the legs but i saw some video where some grazers or other Sawtooths were shot literally ONCE in the leg and it already collapsed but im shooting few times and it doesnt want to go down... Does the damage number is the reason why some fall faster or slower? Or machine level? Or it needs to be shot in the unarmored area not covered by armour plates? But even when i shot it unarmored it still didnt collapse -_-.

Also not only in Horizon 1 their eyes flash but also there is that green arrow up icon so it shows its weakspot.
Forbidden West has much more machine's and some of them are extremly dangerous like Slaughterspine.
Forbidden West has Apex machine's that in ZD are only in The Cut although they are called "Daemonic" and still arent that powerful I think...
Zero Dawn has Shield-Weaver armour which literally gives you 2nd healthbar that regenerates for free and FW doesn't have such thing. Yes there is such valor surge but works for limited time.
Bows in FW - you cant spam 3-arrow shots all the time beacuse you need that "stamina" while in Zero Dawn there is no such thing. Also you can just tap-fire ropecaster in ZD while in FW you need to hold it for a second or 2.
I've beaten Ultra Hard+ with no problem in ZD while in FW it stopped me like 2 times maybe more - 1st it was frickin Tideripper that I've beaten thanks to my allies 2nd was frickin Slaughterspine and I couldn't beat that it literally forced me to do New Game++ so first time I played it on easiest difficulty to max all weapons upgrades etc. and 2nd for Ultra Hard++ lol.
Nooo FW map is cool. You have literally rainforests, deserts, shores, there is water and underwater locations that look awesome.

Or they could make it possible to destroy only 1 eye and after that 2nd one would be undestructiable and it would for example reduce machine's accuracy by some % maybe 50% and same goes for time that it takes machine to detect us where it could be increased too. And maybe if machine's eyes are quite far away from each other so they dont face like forward but on the sides then from the side where eye was destroyed machine would be unable to see us at all like maybe Shell-Walkers.
At beggining i was thinking that its maybe beacuse i play on PS4 and maybe on PS5 the herds are much bigger but i dont think its the case if they already were present in Horizon 1 on basic PS4.
Is it just me or in Forbidden West machines are usually in way smaller groups than in Zero Dawn? I dont think we can see herds of machines like Grazers in Zero Dawn at least not that big... Also in Zero Dawn even some more powerful machines could be found in group of more than 1 like Frostclaws. And in Frobidden West they are lonely.
Edit: I mean I partially understand that imagine group of 3 Slaugtherspines against 1 Aloy XD but others could have larger groups.

Sooo i just replayed Horizon 1 for a few minutes and yes its true that they have their eyes as weak spots too and i think they even do earn 100% damage even when the shot isnt charged. But even when machine is tied up it moves its head so its hard to aim at eyes. And also they flash too when we shoot them for example at Grazers.
So well useful thing but difficult too beacuse eyes are a small target and even worse when machine moves its head.

I hope that in Horizon 3 we will be able to destroy eyes of the machines to blind them so they wont see us... that would be cool.
