One of my early theories going into HFW given the 6 month timeframe from the events of HZD, given that the Datapoint Operation Log indicates that Aloy was born in about 7 months and that Sylens was aware of everything Aloy knew and with his desire for knowledge, with ectogenic chambers in the now open ruin under Sunfall, was that he would seek to create his own clone of Elisabet to act as a key to controlling HADES, giving the end of the first game and otherwise access ZD systems, with the time in between games being just enough to allow for a new clone to be born and DNA taken from Aloy after he rescued her from the Sunring/at the ruins of G Prime, and Aloy would have needed to rescue the newborn clone from him, in a way that idea was used though with Beta and FZ without Sylens involved directly in her creation
Though I could still see the potential that Sylens could have created a new clone of Elisabet, given that while he would in some fashion have a respect for Aloy’s abilities and tenacity to survive against impossible circumstances, he would be aware that she was not unbeatable and could be killed, alongside Beta giving her history with the Zenith’s would be not so easy to manipulate or in other situations be unavailable
With the possibility given that access to ZD was ultimately gene locked to the DNA of the original Alpha’s and his tendency to plan long term, that Sylens would planning for the aftermath of NEMESIS and the potential that Aloy might fall during the conflict, he would either create a new clone of Elisabet to ensure that Aloy had a legacy in the form of someone who could take over or given the importance and status that Aloy has gained over her adventures that a successor could not fully have the same status as Aloy herself, would use the technology of NEMESIS to preform a mind upload of Aloy into a new body created to be identical to her original body, and potentially even as a test to determine if such a process could work effectively for himself
