Yep, I'm 99% sure that all machines with eyes have them as weak points. I don't think they're often highlighted as such, strangely enough. xD

I hope that in Horizon 3 we will be able to destroy eyes of the machines to blind them so they wont see us... that would be cool.

@Sekcja2025 That would make sense, although I imagine for gameplay purposes, it should either take a lot of damage to destroy the eyes or be very difficult to do as blinding a machine completely sounds pretty OP. Maybe damaging the eyes could make machines less accurate with their attacks, but wouldn't completely blind them so they can still pose a threat?

Sooo i just replayed Horizon 1 for a few minutes and yes its true that they have their eyes as weak spots too and i think they even do earn 100% damage even when the shot isnt charged. But even when machine is tied up it moves its head so its hard to aim at eyes. And also they flash too when we shoot them for example at Grazers.

So well useful thing but difficult too beacuse eyes are a small target and even worse when machine moves its head.

Or they could make it possible to destroy only 1 eye and after that 2nd one would be undestructiable and it would for example reduce machine's accuracy by some % maybe 50% and same goes for time that it takes machine to detect us where it could be increased too. And maybe if machine's eyes are quite far away from each other so they dont face like forward but on the sides then from the side where eye was destroyed machine would be unable to see us at all like maybe Shell-Walkers.

It could work like that. We'll have to wait and see if this idea does make it into future Horizon games. :)

Also not only in Horizon 1 their eyes flash but also there is that green arrow up icon so it shows its weakspot.
