I don't think Guerrilla will use AI to replace an actor. I don't think it honors the memory of no one to use it and its honestly just asked because people want the game to not change. There are many talented actors and voice actors out there, many that could do a good job. AI is not necessary. If not having the exact same voice ruins it for people... I just don't know what to say, welcome to real life buddy, people die.

Yes, I am not advocating for this, so it doesn't change. If a new VA gets the role, then a new VA is cast; it doesn't ruin the experience at all for me. I only brought up this idea because, in-game, it made sense to me; let’s be honest, AI generative technology likely exists in Horizen and is widely used by old-world humans. And, knowing Sylens, I don't find it a stretch that he would use it personally if the need arose.

Yes it is likely it existed, I even think Sylens might be looking to achieve the digital immortality the Zeniths were looking for, but that's very different from an AI voice only.
