Nemesis is definitely going to be a villain in the next game (if it's happening).

That is super cool, and honestly I would love to see it as well. @Thunderjaw15387 I agree that I wouldn’t want to lose machine hunting. As for the final boss for Nemesis, I honestly don’t think Specters will be making a big return

As for a final boss I would say that perhaps NEMESIS doesn’t have a physical form it is more of just a ball of pure energy and hatred. So what I’m thinking is that it uses a Horus as a vessel and enhances it. Like if the corrupters are early versions of specters the final boss will be a Horus Zenithfied. A weapons platform that advanced would be unstoppable but still need time to get its army ready, meaning that it is something Aloy can shut down. They have been teasing us with the Horus for a long time now. To make it the final boss would be an awesome way to cap off Horizon.

Next to Beta there is a data point saying that she is working on a Hephaestus stand in system so that covers early game no HEPHAESTUS

As for late game No HEPHAESTUS something that might work is that HEPHAESTUS is so big that using the master override on it just takes the original code out while the rest just runs off.
