@Thunderjaw15387 that is the exact reason why she purged HADES. Although I do agree that perhaps GAIA could find a use for him, he was severely damaged and was not even functioning well.
That's what I meant. Currently, at the end of the story, there are only two basic copies of GAIA with no subfunctions. So why would there be a random copy of HADES when all accessible copies of GAIA were deleted. Why would Aloy to find another basic HADES in the next game.
Because she got them from the zeniths and the other processors. The subfunctions that GAIA currently has are the original subfunctions rolled back to their original programming pre-extinction signal by the master override. If you look at the cut scene where it shows all the subfunctions that Aloy has at the end of the story two are missing. The first is HADES because they have a functioning but unstable biosphere and it was no longer needed to reset said biosphere. The second is HEPHAESTUS who was released by Beta into the material forge in order to distract the specters and thus breached containment and can return to the Cauldron system link. We still need HEPHAESTUS because the biosphere is fairly stable but is degrading which is why we need HEPHAESTUS and not HADES. Gaia doesn’t have the materials to begin again and she doesn’t have HEPHAESTUS so resetting the biosphere is a death sentence for all life on earth. Which is what NEMESIS was going for. So I will repeat it so you can hear me this time. WE DONT NEED HADES! HIS JOB IS DONE AND HE ONLY IS A THREAT TO THE CURRENT BIOSPHERE EVEN IF HE WAS ROLLED BACK AND SHOULD STAY DEAD!!
