In morden days there are planes and drones that can fly from New York to Perth no refills across a continent and 3 oceans and birds can only across only 1 ocean so base the storm bird of morden day planes and not animals (plus they are very fast)

That’s not really the point the point is it can fly long distances and use less fuel

Nope all Zero Dawn machines are based on animals. and even then it's to a perfect 1:1 recreation as they are, well machines. We don't know the exact distance a storm bird can travel before needing to land

Winged albatross can fly 500-600 miles a day (the longest flight time of a bird) planes and drones fly up to 6000ish miles a day

^ok? That still doesn't change that the storm bird only looks like a bird, and its possible flight time without landing is unknown
