Alright, so basically new game plus is a game mode in which you have access to higher game difficulties, but you also get to keep your entire inventory from your previous play through. Armor weapons materials traps the works. If you play on the second hardest difficulty then when you beat the game you win different focus effect colors that you can customize the light that appears next to aloy’s focus when in scanning mode. However, if you beat the game on ultra hard, the highest difficulty, you win both the focus colors and face paint that you can put on Aloy. Which is everything from the true mark of a seeker, my personal favorite, to the markings of a Carja noble. Outside of the higher difficulty and the cosmetics there is not much else. You can also play on all of the difficulties including the new one if you just want to experience the game again more comfortably. I myself went straight for the highest difficulty and had a blast. The face paints are sweet and any excuse to play this game again.
